Case Studies

One of Aqua-Nouveau’s strengths is tackling unusual, interesting and complex installations. From 2009 we are highlighting some of these as case studies. We hope these give you an idea of what is involved in certain types of location and the work required to put equipment into operation.

case study 1 - Getting the water quality right from a bore holeIn March 2009 we were asked, by a family who had purchased a large, old, but lovely cottage in a village near Alresford in Hampshire, to upgrade and revise the plumbing supplied by a private water source.

  • CS3: Back feeding softened water

case study 3 - Back Feeding a Water SoftenerInstalling a water softener can often be difficult. We can sometimes employ a technique known as ‘back feeding’. This involves taking the softened water supply, from the water softener, and entering it back into the main water supply at a completely different location in the property to where the original hard water supply originated.
