Significant Detergent and Energy Savings

A recent Water Quality Association (WQA) Benefits Study, in America, provides amazing energy and detergent savings data when using domestic water softeners.

The study showed that reducing the water hardness enables the use of less detergent and lower washing temperatures.

These reductions in turn, lead to savings in buying detergent and in energy consumption – the latter also being an environmental benefit.

Specifically, the study was able to show:

  • A 50% saving in the amount of detergent required in washing machines
  • A 70% saving in the amount of detergent required in dish washers
